JOB SUMMARY – ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – SENIOR/INTERMEDIATE (REGISTERED)
EMCE Ltd. is seeking to employ an experienced and dynamic Senior/Intermediate Level registered Electrical Engineer for our Engineering Design Department.
The person appointed to this position will report directly to the Managing Director/ Director of Operations and collaborate with other members of our Team to strategically meet the goals and objectives of the Company.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior/Intermediate Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design and construction supervision of all electrical systems related to luxury residential, commercial, medical, educational and industrial projects. These systems shall include:
- Power distribution and power quality
- Lighting systems
- Fire alarm and intrusion detection
- CCTV and access control
- Structured cabling
- Building management systems
- Home automation
- Stand-by power
- Alternative energy solutions
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Proven understanding of electrical engineering as it relates to building services (e.g. lighting, electrical distribution, fire alarm and security systems, structured cabling, and IT)
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes (NEC/IEE)
- Experience on construction projects
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Ability to prepare & present designs and solutions
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and MEP REVIT
- A Master’s degree is a plus but not required
INTERMEDIATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and MEP REVIT
