JOB SUMMARY – MECHANICAL ENGINEER – SENIOR/INTERMEDIATE (REGISTERED)
EMCE Ltd. is seeking to employ an experienced and dynamic Senior/Intermediate Level registered Mechanical Engineer for our Engineering Design Department.
The person appointed to this position will report directly to the Mechanical Department Head and collaborate with other members of our Team to strategically meet the goals and objectives of the Company.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior/Intermediate Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design and construction supervision of all mechanical systems related to luxury residential, commercial, medical, educational and industrial projects. These systems shall include:
- Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC)
- Indoor air quality assessment
- Elevator & escalator specifications
- Potable water systems
- Foul / grey water drainage
- Firefighting & suppression systems
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Proven understanding of mechanical engineering as it relates to the building services field (i.e. HVAC and public health/plumbing)
- Knowledge of relevant mechanical codes (ASHRAE/CIBSE/IPC)
- Experience on construction projects
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Ability to prepare & present designs and solutions
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, MEP REVIT
- A Master’s degree is a plus but not a requirement
INTERMEDIATE MECHANICAL ENGINEER:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, MEP REVIT
